Bayugan is a component city of Agusan del Sur. It is also known as the Rice, Corn and Cut-flower capital of the eastern Mindanao. It is not only known too on its agri-products but also on its Timber industry because of the Falcata tree. Rubber tree is also a booming source of livelihood in the city.
